Grain Cleaning Process

The cleaning process involves multiple stages to achieve high-purity grains. The key steps include:

1. Pre-Cleaning

Removes large impurities like straw, leaves, and stones.

Uses scalpers, aspirators, and rotary drum cleaners to separate coarse materials.

2. Fine Cleaning

Eliminates smaller particles such as sand, dust, and light grains.

Uses sieves, gravity separators, and air classifiers to achieve precise separation.

3. De-Stoning

Separates heavier stones and metallic particles from grains.

Uses a de-stoner machine that operates on density difference principles.

4. Magnetic Separation

Removes ferrous (iron-based) contaminants that may come from harvesting equipment.

Uses magnetic separators to attract and remove metal particles.

5. Grading and Sorting

Classifies grains based on size, shape, and weight.

Uses cylindrical graders and optical sorters for uniformity in grain batches.

6. Moisture Control & Polishing

Adjusts moisture content for better storage and processing.

Uses polishers to remove surface dust and enhance grain appearance.
